Palmachim Beach is one of the favorites among photographers. Beside its beauty, it is only 20 minutes drive from my home town. That makes it an ideal location when you are not in the mood for a long ride, don’t have enough time till sunset or just do not have any other place in mind. During spring time the water level is low and a bright green seaweeds rag is revealed on the exposed rockery. The weather is already warm enough to get your feet wet and get close to the rock edge, take some photos and be back home on time for dinner.

This photo was taken at Palmachim Beach which I call my home playground since it is only about 20 minutes drive from my home and is one of Israel's best photography beachesTime
Since our Mediterranean coastline faces west sunset is the best time to take photos hereLighting

Sure I did some basic post processing like exposure, contrast, color and sharpeningIn my camera bag
A Nikon D750 body with 14-24 and a 24-70 mm lencse. A remote control, filters set, headlight for safety, cleaning cloth (important for seascapes), mosquitos repellentand a small bottle of water.Feedback
