Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Kellie's Castle, located in Perak state Malaysia. One of the historical building build in 1915 by a Scottish named William Kellie-Smith. The unfinished construction of this building now is a popular local tourist attraction and it has been used as a setting in the 1999 film Anna and the King.

Time

Me and family arrived to that place around 12 pm. After pay the ticket took some lunch, we were walking to the whole building and myself took some picture of the building. Get impressed to the unfinished construction where the structure of this building is made from red brick and marble imported from India.

Lighting

When walking through this corridor, seem like a mysterious walk way t nowhere. On my left it was available light pass through the wall,so i decide to make use of this opportunity.

Equipment

i am this shot by using my entry level dslr canon 450D and with my 50mm f1.8 prime lens. No other equipment involve.

Inspiration

to show the beautiful of the structure.

Editing

Yes I did. Using a Adobe Lightroom and do some minor adjustment to the highlight, contrast shadow before changed to use preset.

In my camera bag

as for now, what in my bag is Nikon D750 with 50mm F1.8D lens and Godox TT685 speedlight. That all.

Feedback

Try to use a wider lens example 24mm or 18mm so that you can capture the whole environment.
