Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at the beach near my house in Malaysia. In a state called Terengganu which is the famous state with a beautiful beaches.

Time

Actually,me and some of my friend a little bit late to reached at the place due to some problem suddenly came. i should be there before 6.00am Malaysia time in order to capture the moment and the beautiful sunrise. Then i have made it by arriving there close to 7.00am. Poor me.

Lighting

Actually, I am not a landscape photographer. I just follow some tips from my friend on how to shoot in a right way. I just imagine how i want to located the subject so that it could be nice to capture. I let to sun stood behind those rocks so that i could capture the ray light but i not happened.

Equipment

This image i use my Nikon D750 with tamron lens 24-70mm f2.8 with 24mm zoom. I borrowed a cpl filter from my friend because i don't have one and a cheap tripod.

Inspiration

I am in a process to learned how to shoot a sunrise like other photographer i have known so at lease it does not make me feel no nothing about landscape photography.

Editing

I been told that better to use photoshop for post processing for landscape photo because it easy for colour selection. But what i did was firstly i did my adjustment by using Lightroom before transfer to photoshop for final image.

In my camera bag

Beside my Nikon D750 and my Tamron lens 24-70mmF2.8, I also bring my nikkor 50mm F1.4D. For speedlight i choose Godox TT685 togehter with XT1 trigger.

Feedback

Keep practicing.
