I've never been this far east, jumping off from Newark Airport for Lisbon Portugal on a Continental international flight, the coming eight hour stretch will plant me on the tarmac of the humid Atlantic portal of the east meeting the west, an ancient city with all the history of commerce and the secure cluster of the Templars.
Newark at the golden hour between six and seven PM, intriguingly scenic where I did not expect a sweeping expanse of planes and clouds? Still, the tinted glass lent itself well to a sepia touch to perhaps an otherwise boring view. Someone actually has cleaned the outside of this picture pane!
