By lining the sun that was burning through the overcast sky with the beacon's ( out) light I found a way to picture this utilitarian navigational beacon on a dull cloudy day. To make an interesting image out of unpromising materials. Later, with Lightroom I darkened the image and burned in a light halo around the light.What I hope is that a viewer will say uh. huh and then say wait a second when they see that something is not quite right.
