Living in Milwaukee, WI, storms normally roll east to west. As they reach the Great Lake, the surf kicks up, the water gets rough and the greys mix together. This was taken at Big Bay Park in Whitefish Bay (a suburb of Milwaukee). The jetty is all that remains of an upscale resort from the turn of the century. The resort serviced the upper class from the city of Milwaukee - a 3 hour or so trek by horse-drawn carriage. There is a only one other building that remains from the resort. It is a restaurant just down the block from Big Bay Park. Lake level is 100 feet down off the bluff where the residential areas are located.
