Springtime at Almond Marsh Preserve in Illinois is a fabulous time to photograph birds. The time of day I was there was perfect because the sunlight brought out the natural vibrant colors of the Swallow. I also like how the negative space has a hint of color and texture adding a depth that would not be there while the tree limb provides texture.
