Lovely and inspiring to express openly. Violin, arms and the vast ocean. Perfect. Yes and the contrast smooth. Thanks

Location
The photo was taken at the beach in Schevenningen, Netherlands some years ago while I was on a shooting trip with a friend.Time
I think it was in the afternoon right before the sunset.Lighting
It is natural light. No bouncer, no flash. Just the available light that shines through the clouds.Equipment
I used my Oentax K3-II but I cant remeber what lens or so.Inspiration
We went to the beach with two models. My friend shot Liane at the beach with her violine. She danced with her while the shooting. I saw how graceful and dramatic she moved and asked her if she will do this for me too. She was tired, hungry and wanted to end the session but i begged her. Told her that I only need 5 minutes. She agreed and with this attidue she striked this pose right in the right moment. I was excited as I pused the trigger and showed her inmediatly. Than we both were motivated again. We tried 2 or 3 other shoots but it was clear, that the first shoot was "IT".Editing
Yes of course. In the background there were some ships that I edited out of the scene. They seemed to dostract. I wanted the pic to have it clean and that the eyes are mainly at Liane. The sky was one plain white think so I add some clearness in it to work out the clouds. As I took the photo while the shoot I knew that this pic has to be a monochrome one. So I converted it in black and white. I wanted that one could see her footsteps in the sand. So I left them while I deleted everything else in the sand. At the end I added a vignette to the pic and thats it.In my camera bag
Most of the time: My camera, of course and a 50mm,1.8 Lense. Nothing more. I´m a lover of available light and shoot mostly outdoor on location. Only when I´m in a studio I use flashes.Feedback
Trust your instincts and try to finde the right atmosphere that fits the photo you want to take. Communicate with your model and tell them what exactly you want. Let her move naturally and don`t try to force you and the model to an unnatural pose. See the human beeing before your camera not the object you want to capture.
