Mature adult male Wedge-tailed Eagle. Actually a dark brown-black bird, but reflecting blue-grey in the light. Moulting fluffy white under feathers over the place. Colonel Rose Drive, Alice Springs, Central Australia.

I've only seen adults pulling and slurping sinews. I think they are choice bits of Kangaroo road-kill carrion.
