As I remember it was about 2:30 in the afternoon, I was surprised to see this guy jump off an RV as it passed the check-in station.Lighting
Natural light, shading by trees.Equipment
I grabbed the camera that I keep next to me in the car just for occasions as this, a Canon PowerShot SX30 IS. Did not take time to grab my Canon 5D Mark III that was packed up with all my other equipment in the back seat of my automobile.Inspiration
Early Spring scouting areas with friends for photographing shoot(s). I saw this guy jump from the top of an RV as it was rounding the corner around the park check-in facility. My friends and I were heading to the main office at the time, I ran back to my car and grabbed the camera and ran towards him. I got his attention immediately and began to shoot. This image I was on the ground shooting directly at him. First snake of the year. My lady friends were petrified, but I knew he was harmless.Editing
