All WW1 ammo belts were canvas as the didnt rust and they were easy and quick to reload, these are WW2 British.

I took a similar shot of a clip of bullets housed in the 'War Remnants Museum' in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (formerly know as 'Saigon') ... Subject matter that's uncomfortable and compelling at the same time. Well Done!
