A Wood Duck here in New Brunswick at -34c below. This duck should be far south of here this time of year but people are feeding it daily at a local park. The problem with this is, when the food is scattered, a feeding frenzy occurs and the poor wood duck is pummeled by 50 mallards, not a pretty sight!

A Merlin perched in a tree with a little snowfall.

As the spider was wrapping the fly with it's web, It looks like the web is shooting from a face! I see eyes, nose, cheeks and mouth where the web

Not something you see often, the beautiful lemon yellow under wing of the Pine Siskin.

This juvenile Bald Eagle was checking me out as I walk a wooded trail.

Notice how he matches his surroundings with his eye patches. Looks more like he is flying then running.

I captured this Ruby-throated Hummingbird that was checking out my milkweed plant. I love Hummingbirds but then again I love birds period!

While walking a wooded trail this Red Squirrel approached and gave me the feeling I was trespassing!
