Laid down during the balmy Eocene, the beautiful Kaiata sequence tilted just right, protrudes out into a boisterous Tasman sea. I had to sneak through an archway between the influxes of surging water... a great place to explore through the twilight hour. I'd had a rushed look at this coast on geology field trips in the early nineties, nice to be back at a more relaxed pace.

I'm really liking the Lee SW150 mk2 10 stop filter.
