This was taken at my local Race BMX track I grew up riding in West Auckland of New ZealandTime
I believe this was later in the day about an hour before sundown!..Lighting
It was a wee tricky trying to capture the bikes reflection through the sun glasses, as the light was flaring off of the bikes frames!! I found When the sun hid behind clouds, gave me enough lighting to capture the snap flare free ????Equipment
Simple beginners set up!! Olympus E-M5 Mark II with a 12-50mm standard lens, just how I bought it!!Inspiration
I love my riding as as much as I love my photography!!! I love to just hang out at my local riding spots and watch the day go by... The reflection on the glasses, to me gave that hint of a summers day of riding in the kind of happy chilled vibe as I see it ??Editing
I’d have to say 1 in a million!!! Never touched this image!! The glasses gave me the pop, the attention, pre-processed look that locked my eyes on the glasses lens rather than the scenery behind!!In my camera bag
I always carry a wee little flour stand for low angled shots along with my standard size stand... I don’t normally use a flash, but I do carry that in case!!! Clean cloths for the lense along with a blower and an already used cloth for the screen and sight, all just in case my camera gets a wee bit dirty when I’m out!! Always my 12-50mm lens and any other lens depending on what I’d be shooting!! And of course my wonderful Olympus E-M5 Mark II shutter ????Feedback
I recommend taking them glasses off and visually experimenting the different lightings, angles and affects for something that looks eye catching!! Then focus the snapper and send it
