Shooting in Arches National Park late one October evening and met several other photographers. One turned out to be from Colorado near me and we later went to Iceland on the same trip.
This shot came from light painting the arches with the Milky Way lying close overhead. This is a single exposure.

I was taking pics of some pronghorn when this buck noticed me mid-chew then turned and ran.

The ice from Jokulsarlon bay wash up on the black sand beaches as gorgeous polished pieces.
