It was a rather cold day in January, probably -22C or so. I happened to walk over ice to Uunisaari, right next to Helsinki center. Sun started setting and I started shooting with my good old Canon G11. At some point I lost feeling from my fingers due to the cold, but couldn't stop shooting.

Once again I found myself at mökki - the Finnish summer cottage.

The sea was barely frozen when we arrived. Sky was clear, for the first time in months. Felt like spring.

Since we still don't have proper snow in Southern Finland, I need to shoot the occasional frost.
