Flamingos are said to be sedentary. They hold the same pose for an extended period of time. I believe we were fortunate because, within 10-15 minutes, we could see them standing in the group...then marching in one row, and when we went to the other side, we saw them fly away.
Along with this one in flight, we could get a variety of poses. It's amazing to see them enjoying their freedom in this photo.
