Many of the world's most famous nature and 'art' photographers have shot at and-or made their homes at or within spitting distance of Pt. Lobos, California State Park because of its Pristine beauty in CA's Monterey County at the northern part of famed Big Sur where the coastal range falls into the Pacific, served by one of the world's most treacherous highways. The names read like a 'who's who of view camera nature photographers from the 20th C. and continuing including the entire Weston clan, Ansel Adams and more. The roads there are narrow, asphalt, and lead into vast areas of poison oak that discourage photographic exploration, but I was lucky enough to find nearer the road this group of mushrooms growing on mulch-like growth, which I captured using a macro-telephoto lens, using the lens and selective focus to create a bokeh (out of focus area) that I found pleasing. I hope you do too.
