Malachite Kingfishers are normally Blue and Orange coloured. And while preparing for this trip I found out that there was one! sighting of a rare white version (not albino) in the Kazinga Channel in Uganda. Naturally I had to try my luck finding this one little bird, Malachites are about 15 cm tall..with this as a result!
