There is this great place in Las Vegas to take a variety of photographs. At Floyd Lamb Park they have some of the first buildings built in Las Vegas, Peacocks, an array of wildlife, horseback riding and ponds with fish stocked every couple of months. This is just one of the many bird species that comes to Floyd Lamb park. I shot this because of the great highlight from the sun on the bird. I waited for it to pose for me and capture this great contrast. When I went to edit the image I used the Nik collection and their black and white filters. This filter is an antique palette filter that blurs the edges. Love how it brings in your focus.
