This is a photo of the new, tallest in the world, ferris wheel in Las Vegas. I took this around 5am so I pretty much had the entire place to myself as the sun was rising behind the wheel. I used my Nikon D7100 and a manfrotto tripod. I used lightroom 5 to take down the highlights of the signs so that the lettering would be sharper. I also brightened the shadows to bring out the buildings as I was exposing more for the wheel and the background sky.
