A paper wasp was stealing a bit of sugar water from the hummingbird feeder. It still has the droplet in it's mandibles. Cropped tight to increas the zoom. You can see the sky behind me refectected in it's eye and my flash is reflected in the droplet of sugar water.

A dead tree in the Saguaro fields near my house that I have been experimenting taking pictures of. I liked how this looked in black and white.

I found this blooming in the desert as I was scouting a spot for this particular evening's sunset shots.

I have been testing myself with taking close-up photos without having a macro lens. I had no idea this much was going on with the Texas sage flowers
