The sudden appearance of gold on the white pines caught my eye and things grew better from there. A little red from the leaf and then a cone, for some reason one of my favorite objects in nature. I likely looked a bit odd laying there on the sidewalk, but that was the angle I thought made the neatest view of nature's fall beauty.
