Every fall for just a few days these fuzzy caterpillars emerge and do their thing, whatever that is. Along the way they all seem to want to cross the road, some left to right and others do the opposite. Clearly their thing is not consistent. For some weird reason I like these little creatures, so I try and avoid them as they cross the road. When I have a camera and time allows, I'll stop and lay down in the roadside dirt and see what the lens can find.
