This photo was taken on my kitchen table against a black cloth.Time
Taken close to mid day.Lighting
I used natural light coming in from my dinning room window.Equipment
NIKON: D3300. LENS: Sigma DC 18-250mm 1:3.5-6.3 Macro HSM EQUIPMENT: Black cloth for the backdrop. T Candle holders to lift the rose off the table. Sprayed water and glycerin on the rose to create dew drops. Manfrotto TripodInspiration
This rose was bought by my daughter Adele for a good friend Judy and I was so impressed with it's beauty I decided to experiment with my camera and see if I could get a decent photo of it. This is something I had not done before so it was all experimental.Editing
The only post processing I did on this photo was to increase the redness in the rose as the original did not give the depth of redness that the actual rose had.In my camera bag

I'm a beginner to photography at this level so want to try everything at least once. My equipment is basic but I don't let it stop me from trying to do whatever I want. I read a lot of information on photography and watch lots of YouTube videos to give me ideas to increase my knowledge and challenge me. My best advise to others is to give it a go.
