It was around noon time, so the sun was overhead.Lighting
What made the lighting interesting was the fact that the photo was taken from a wooded area towards a sun drenched pond. The leaves cast a mottled shadow in the foreground.Equipment

The image immediately come to mind as I drove by. I turned around to take the picture. I particularly liked the reflections in the foreground water.Editing
