Behind The Lens

Location

I frequently use my large back yard as a backdrop to my photos. In this case, the peppers are sitting on a rickety pallet wood fence.

Time

Early afternoon.

Lighting

There were a few clouds which offered some diffused light on the peppers.

Equipment

Nikon D5200

Inspiration

I love cooking and use peppers frequently. They come in amazingly bright colours that come out well in photos.

Editing

Did not need to, the colours came out naturally well.

In my camera bag

Extra batteries, lenses and granola bars. When I get too focused on taking photos, I forget to eat - easiest way to grab some energy is a granola bar.
