Inspiration
This is my first shot from the autumn in the Balkan this year. From the window in my home, I see the tops of the mountain. When the leaves began to staining from the autumn, I began to look to the mountain every morning hoping to see a blanket of fog over the tops, because for me, the forest is most beautiful when is enveloped in fog. When I saw that morning enveloped in mist peaks, I took the equipment and fired himself to the mountain. To my delight the Balkan is turned out generous of beautiful views in the beginning of this autumn.
Editing
In this case, the image is made from 15 frames assembled in panorama (3 rows by 5 frames / forizontal). I used Photoshop to assemble the panorama. I used Photoshop to increase the contrast and details in the shadows too.
In my camera bag
Sony A7R, Sony Zeiss T* FE 55mm f/1.8, ZEISS Batis 2.8/18, CirPol(zeiss), ND and GradND(singh-ray) filters
Feedback
My advice is to shoot in the woods only when the forest is enveloped in fog :) The fog contributes to the enchanting and mysterious view of the forest. Also after every 3-4 shots you have to clean the front element of the lens because in a fog the glass is covering with moisture.
Good luck and light to all!
