Location
This photo is taken in Greece, the place is called Meteora and is famous for the ancient monasteries built directly on the vertical rocks.Time
The shot was taken during sunset in the spring of 2016.Lighting
The rupture of the clouds immediately after a brief rain allowed the light from the setting sun to illuminate the beautiful landscape in this wonderful place.Equipment
Sony A7R + zeiss distagon 15mm f/2.8 with adapter. I made this frame with my camera staged onto my camera bag instead of a tripod :)Inspiration
The first pictures I saw from this place with these beautiful sheer rocks and the amazing monasteries built on them created a magical mood in me. This place is like a fairy tale, and it inspires me to visit and shoot it whenever I can.Editing
The frame was created by technique called focus stacking. This is a technique that uses multiple frames to create a greater depth of field in a single frame. In my camera bag
Sony A7RII, zeiss batis 18mm f/2.8, sony-zeiss 55mm f/1.8, sony 70-200 GM f/2.8, singh-ray filters (nd 5 and 10 stops and 0.3 stops hard na soft grad)Feedback
For such pictures, especially when using the focus stacking technique, I recommend using very high speeds or positions where the foreground is in a covenant because the moving foreground makes it difficult to stack the frames.
