Very dramatic shot, though I find the light rays distractingly unreal. Be interested in seeing the shot without them

This is a excellent low light shot - love it. Agree with previous comment - the added rays are not neccesary - it was top class work to start with

Photo was taken in a new unfurnished apartment.Time
Around 11am as the sun was just shining through the window perfectly.Lighting
The lighting is mostly natural as I used the window as the main light source.Equipment

I don't have much experience in taking posed shots let alone nudes, so this was really an experiment that payed off.Editing
I increased the contrast and also added the sun rays, which were not necessary but I thought at the time that it added a little kick to the image.In my camera bag
I recently upgraded cameras, but I usually carry a Nikon D5300 with several lenses, including a few primes. I usually don't like to use a tripod but sometimes cannot avoid it.Feedback
This was an experimental shot for me so my best advice is to not be afraid of trying things out, even if they don't work out, you might learn something from it.
