Absolutely love it! I have an original Singer Treddle here and it works perfectly.. even sews heavy materials. Brings back memories of the one Mum used to make my dresses back in the 40s/50s :)

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Time

The time of the day was early afternoon.

Lighting

The lighting was not ideal as the sun was high but it still gave a pleasing effect to the image.

Equipment

Camera used was my old Nikon D5000 and the 55-200mm lens.

Inspiration

I noticed this old sewing machine on a table at an old restaurant with many other antiques and it looked like a great subject.

Editing

I mainly increased the saturation and added a bit of contrast. The image is mostly as it out of the camera.

In my camera bag

I normally carry a Nikon D5300 but for this trip I took my old D5000, which served its purpose just fine.

Feedback

Always carry a camera, as you never know when a photo op might present itself.
