I took this photo in one of the lovely villages dotting Tuscany. This was the local garden.Time
It was taken in the Fall one early morning. It was cold and there was an early morning mist. The park was deserted.Lighting
The lighting was beautiful and diffused. It lent a lovely atmospereic feel to the scene.Equipment
I was handholding the camera. my canon 5d Mark 1 and if I remember correctly, my 24-105mm kit lens.Inspiration
The scenery in Tuscany is all very inspiring. I think this lovely little park speaks for itself when it comes to inspiration. The lovely hues of Fall and the fallen leaves.were the biggest inspirations. But also the quitetness of the place and the early morning mist. It was easy to be inspired at that moment.Editing
Post processing was minimal. The shot simply did not need much work. I was careful to crop correctly in camera. I adjusted tones and colours in photoshop to bring out the Fall colours and the atmosperci feel of the place.In my camera bag
I carry as little as possible. I do not like to lug heavy equipment. My camera, a lens and some spare batteries and cards. Sometimes I may carry more but with careful plannig.Feedback
Take your time. Try to get your composition right in camera. Try shooting from various angles.Don't just take one hsot and move away. Never!
