Another mesmerizing image from the Upper Antelope slot canyon in northern Arizona. Slot canyons are defined as a canyon that is significantly deeper than wide. Oftentimes, one must turn sideways to maneuver through narrow passageways. These narrow slots cause indirect sunlight to filter down the walls creating interesting lighting effects. This upper canyon wall view has quite the variety of tonal variation and patterns that make it one of my favorites.
