We are not too far away from spring melt and of course, waterfall season in the Pacific Northwest!
Did ya know waterfalls actually are categorized by classifications? Typically, it is based on shape, but also can be described by volume. Common classifications include; ribbon, horsetail, plunge, cascade, punchbowl, block, shoot, slide, tiered, etc.
This particular waterfall is commonly considered a combination; tiered horsetails. Regardless, of its description, Panther Creek Falls is certainly one of the more attractive waterfalls in Washington.
