The photo was taken on my families " 100 acre Wood" during a Sunday afternoon stroll to Grandmas house. ( yes I can really go across the creek and through the wood to Grandmas house.

Inspiration

I find quite a few feathers on my walks and snapped it to share with a friend. Feathers, like my black cat are quite hard to get good pics of. The texture and proper angle of lighting, with patient stillness are required. I take a lot of " in the moment shots" and this one. with a little cropping it turned out fabulous. I'm just an amateur carpe dieming. It's actually one reason I joined the sight. To share, but mostly to learn something new with a small hobby I enjoy.

Patience. Taking time to see the whole frame. What's in front. What's in the background. Patience!!!! Don't rush the light because 3 min later the natural light will be different.
