One of about 30 I snapped during a 5 minute period while standing (and getting bit) in the sand. :)

Thanks! It was worth all the sand flee bites I got in the process. LOL

I snapped about 30-40 pictures over a 10 minute period. Except for the composition of the beach itself the sky looks different in almost every single one.

Location
This was taken at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic on the beach along the Excellence resort.Time
Shortly after 6 am.Lighting
All sunrise sunlight. :) Literally, the light changed from minute to minute and even second to second and all I did was snap as many pics as I could in about a 15 minute period.Equipment
My Canon 7D Mark II with a 17-40mm L f/4, Manfroto tripod, and remote trigger.Inspiration
The sunrise itself along with the two small people in the distance on the beach. I knew almost exactly what the final photo was going to look like as I was snapping them.Editing
This shot is actually a 3 shot bracketed HDR image using a 0, -2 and +2 exposure. In my camera bag
I always have my 7D Mark II and Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 and at least one other lens with me whether it is my 50 f/1.4, 85 f/1.8 or 55-250. I rarely have a tripod with me.Feedback
Be prepared to get up extra early! I am not a morning person by any means but sometimes sunrises have a different 'look' to them than sunsets. :)
