Sunset behind seeding cattails.
The funny thing is that I rarely plan my shoots nor my shots. This pic is a perfect example. It was very early spring (before the leaves had come out) and the sky looked magnificent at dusk. I grabbed my camera and headed for the Ottawa river which is only a few blocks from my house. While walking long a path, I saw these cattails from last year that had burst open, with the sun shining through the fuzz. I didn't need to do anything but take the shot; no filter, no adjustments, nothing.
