Had a wonderful once in a lifetime event while on the Savuti marsh in Botswana. Watching a 1000+ sized buffalo her going by at golden hour. Small groups of elephants were closed in and started to get nervous. I was in the condition of having a low angle as well.

Probably one of the best moments of my life when a cape buffalo herd of 1500 head strong were passing in front of me during an incredible sunset while small groups of elephants became kind of closed in by the buffaloes and started to panic a little.Editing

Hire the best guid/driver that knows photography as well as his animals and be patience enough to get these great moments. Maybe you are lucky. Be prepared because everything happens in a split second. It may take years to find the right spots for you and you learn through the years. The investment in gear and travel will be enormous, had to go through a lot finacial hardship to do this.
