There are many places on the Canadian and American prairies where families first came out and broke the land and started growing crops. There are remnants of their homes and buildings still seen rotting in the sun. All that is left of this homestead is a portion of a fence, If you kick around in the grass you will find other odds and ends of lives lived in the past. I always wonder what they were like.
