Captured at Lajas, Puerto Rico! driving home from another town I took this old road in the hopes of finding a red flamboyan tree they were in blossom at this time of year and spectacular the red is my fav there's an orange and yellow too and almost impossible to find blue but this one I found was all by herself on this big open farmland with a mountain background and perfect light just waiting for me to drive by, I swear I heard her call my name! I don't even know how I saw her the grass was very high on the barbwire fence, I had to make my shots from above my head with both hands up high and hoping that I would focus on the tree only, I took many shots and I'm sure many folks that drove speeding by me wondered what the heck is he doing with his hands up like that?
