Location
This was taken in a museum, based around an excavated Roman villa in Rabat, Malta (just over the road from the Silent City, Mdina).Time
As this was taken inside, time of day isn't too important, but for accuracy, it was mid-morning (as far as I can remember).Lighting
This was lit by the museum's own lighting, so I had no control over that.Equipment
Shot with a Canon 5D Mk iii, with an L series 24-105mm IS lens.Inspiration
This was in it's own little alcove, and the lighting made it stand out against the dark blue background but to be fair, I was just on a mission to record as many memories as possible.Editing
I used very little processing, maybe a bit of level adjusting in LR, but to be honest, it didn't need much at all.In my camera bag
It's normally just what I took the picture with, along with a 50mm non-IS lens (if I'm feeling brave!), and a monopod. I'm a simple man!Feedback
Just keep an eye open for exhibits that stand out, and try a few different angles to get the best out of the shot.
