I was inspired by the moment. I looked up from my food and saw a wonderful set up for a photo opportunity. The sun was right, the air was warm and inviting. I found my angle and saw the perfect moment to take a stunt photograph.Editing
I did touch up the photo in post. I used Instagram's filters and settings to fine-tune the color and feel I was looking for.In my camera bag
I typically have my Panasonic LUMIX GH3 with a voigtlander 25mm prime. I'll have a tripod, remote and extra lenses for variety.Feedback
In Humboldt County, the weather can vary. You can be in one part of the county and find that it's overcast and cold while in another part of the same county, it can be hot and clear. You'll want to take these kinds of photos during the summer time when your chances of clear blue sky (or mostly clear) are much higher. When taking your photos, don't be afraid to move around and change angels. Pay close attention to what you include in and take out of the frame.
