Location
I took this photo at one of my friends home few years ago. They have two cats.Time
This was shot in 2015, during a lazy Sunday noon time.Lighting
I especially liked this pic, given most of the Cat pics we see are either angry looking or just plain staring into camera.Equipment
This was shot using Panasonic Lumix GH4 Mirrorless with Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 12-35mm F2.8 glass. No other additional lighting was used to take this shot except some soft window light bouncing back from nearby marble floor.Inspiration
When I see this Cat quietly sleeping one corner (probably after heavy lunch special on Sunday :)Editing
I edited this photo in Adobe Lightroom with minimum touch ups on contrast and clarity sliders. In my camera bag
My workhorse lens is always Panasonic 12-35 f2.8 lens. Great for low light and very sharp. Never failed me be it a group shot of people (or) breath taking landscape shots.Feedback
Try to click 'in the moment' instead of elaborate setups especially for pet photography. Don't stick to any particular genre of photography. Keep experimenting. Keep learning and hone your craft.
