IMG_1106 The Millennium Monument in Wrigley Square

Wrigley Square is located on the Northwest corner of Millennium Park in downtown Chicago, Illinois. It contains the Millennium Monument, a replica of the semi-circle pair of doric-style columns originally located in Grant Park between 1917 and 1953. The William Wrigley, Jr. Foundation donated five millions dollars for the monument and square. The pedestal of the Monument has the inscribed names of the donors who each donated one million dollars to pay for Millennium Park.
