It's like Spring at the moment and I'm really missing a proper winter feeling, so here it is!

Location

This photo was taken in Namibia when I was on a wonderful photography trip! I am a enthusiastic hobby photographer and had the time of my life!

Time

I belief it was towards the end of the morning

Lighting

In Namibia the light gets harder as soon as the sun comes up. There’s little shadow so the sun was high and the light was harsh. I think it adds to the scene in this photo.

Equipment

This photo was taken with a Canon 5D MkII and a Canon 100-400mm from a jeep with an open roof.

Inspiration

Wildebeests are usually seen in a herd, and I loved how this one was standing alone. In the background you can see a herd of zebra’s, maybe he wants to be in a herd as well, or he is wondering how he got to be alone. It’s as if he is mesmerizing….

Editing

No more than the usual work in Lightroom was done to this photo

In my camera bag

In my bag I carry the next equipment: Canon 6D! 100-400mm, 40mm, Irix 15mm, some filters and a sturdy tripod.
