Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at Bygdoy, part of Oslo, Norway.

Time

As I can recall it was in the afternoon. Around 4-5 p.m.

Lighting

This was a long exposure, so I had to choose the aperture wisely.

Equipment

I used my tripod, my Nikon D90, with 18-105 lens, and a Hoya ND1000 filter, since it was taken as a long exposure during daylight.

Inspiration

I was just exploring Bygdoy, and saw these boats, noticed one of'em is moving a little bit, so I took the chance and this was the result.

Editing

As you can see, I did some post-processing, indeed. Played with contrast and colors.

In my camera bag

Tripod, gorillapod, filters, lenses: 70-300, 40 micro-Nikkor, 18-105, 10-20. Lens cleaning kit, charger, extra battery, card reader.

Feedback

My only advice about this is try to find something which moves only a little bit, and everything around is still. Then you can capture something like this.
