Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on an abandoned construction site.

Time

It has been shot at night.

Lighting

Lighting source was the steelwool itself. It was really hard to focus on it, though.

Equipment

I've used my tripod, you need that for night shots, especially for long exposures. My Nikon D90.

Inspiration

I'm a big fan of steelwool photography. I've already got a few great pictures with this theme.

Editing

Yes, I did some post-processing, but not much. Only popping the colours a little bit.

In my camera bag

I always have my most important lenses: 40mm, 85mm, 70-300mm, my Godox AD100Pro.

Feedback

My most important advice is, that you should use clothes you might won't need anymore, because spinning a steelwool could be dangerous and flammable. Never do it close to flammable things! Otherwise it is really fun, especially the product at the end of it!
