Location
The tree can be found in Szilvásvárad (Hungary). We were on a weekend-trip with my girlfriend, and of course I had to take my camera with me ;)Time
It is a normal daytime-photo. We were just walking around in the park, when I saw this tree.Lighting
Well, it is a daytime-photo, and the sun was shining like hell, so I had to change the lights a little bit :PEquipment
I used my beloved Nikon D7100 with normal 18-55mm kit-lens. Actually I usually take my landscape photos with this lens. No flash, no tripod were used.Inspiration
As I told, we were just walking around in the park of Szilvásvárad when I saw this tree.....and fell in that it looks like mask from the Scream. I took some photos and I decided on the site, that I will make it look more scary :)Editing
Since it is originally a daytime-photo, aaaand I wanted nighttime-look, I changed the shadows, the lights, the blacks and the whites. But first of all I desatureted the whole photo because B&W fits more to a scary tree.In my camera bag
For landscapes I always pack in my 18-55mm kit-lens, and some filters...like ND1000, Vario ND4-400 and CPL. There are always 2 remotes with me, an infra and a cable release. What else ? Tripod of course, and a lot of batteries and memory cards.Feedback
Always be prepared, because you never know, when will the opportunity knock on your door ;)
