This Violet, called Viola sororia, (sister violet) is a relative and offshoot from the Common Blue Woodland Violet. The Blue Violet is also principal to the White violet, Viola alba.
Lesbians wore garlands of these during the Victorian eta, so they could recognize each other!
I think my various violets mated, and here is the result. Only two plants of these, so far, millions of the rest.
