Location
I took this photo at a secluded picnic spot at the top of Cunninghams Gap which is part of The Great Dividing Range, AustraliaTime
It was mid afternoon, between 2 & 3 pmLighting
It was shady, lots of trees overhead to filter out the bright sunEquipment
Canon 500D with Tamron Lens 18-270 zoomInspiration
I couldn't resist - this female Bower Bird came down onto our picnic table to steal my food. That wasn't an opportunity I was going to say no to.Editing
I cannot remember if I used any cross processing, I usually only boost the colours & clarity though using On1 Photo EffectsIn my camera bag
A tripod & a remote shutter. I don't own any other equipment other than what I have already listed.Feedback
Be patient. If you are after photos of particular wildlife in an area, go online and find where they are sighted frequently. They will be tamer and less skittish if they are used to seeing humans around.
